The advertising systems of Google, Facebook and Instagram offer fantastic opportunities to target content ads to users all over the world, on every conceivable website. But it also presents potential pitfalls. Are you aware of which websites your ads are associated with? When you’re creating an ad, one of the things you need to think about is where your ads will appear – the ad placement. If you use Google’s ad tool, you can preview your ad to see where on the page your ad appears for specific searches. Here you can easily see your placement if your ad wins a bidding. You can also see your average placement. What many people forget is that in Google, you can opt out of the pages and searches you don’t want your ad to appear on. In Facebook’s ad tools, you can also add pages and keywords that you don’t want to be associated with. This can be managed in your company’s ad manager setup. Do you need help securing your ad impressions?
