Reasons why newspaper ads don’t work

It could be as simple as your target group not reading the newspaper. In that case, you could try social media marketing or ads in the Google network. But another reason is that we see so much advertising that the brain may sort out the ads and simply ignore them. The most important thing to do is to test different marketing and different messages, maybe you need to adapt your ads a little for customers to notice?

Poor readability

Otherwise, you should consider that the ad should be adapted to printed newsprint. This will be completely different to printing the ad on a printer. If the text is indistinct or too small, customers may not bother to look at your ad, with the result that the newspaper ad won’t work. If you’re in doubt, I’m happy to check your ads, and if you want, I can help you with graphic design and layout.
